Safety in the shower
Water and electricity are a lethal combination. Utmost care is needed when planning an electric shower installation. In fact, using any sort of electrical equipment in the bathroom or shower room is subject to regulation. Check out the IEE Wiring Regulations to make sure that your new shower and electrical equipment comply. Usefully, the regulations identify particular zones within the bathroom and indicate what type of electrical equipment can be installed in each zone.
